Wearing Guide
Wearing Guide
Here's a step by step guide for wearing contact lenses:
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and dry them before handling your lenses.
- Check the expiry date and inspect the lenses for any damages. If the lenses are expired or damaged, do not use them.
- Remove a lens from its packaging or storage case and place it on the tip of your index finger. Make sure the lens is not inside out by checking the edges. If it forms a U shape, it is the correct way round. If it forms a cup shape, it is inside out.
- Hold the lens on your index finger and use your other hand to gently pull down your lower eyelid to form a pocket.
- Gently place the lens on your eye and release your eyelid. Blink a few times to make sure the lens has settled in place.
- Repeat the steps for the other lens.
- If you experience discomfort or the lens feels dry, use rewetting drops.
- When you are ready to remove your lenses, wash your hands again and gently massage the lens off your eye with your index finger.
- Place the lenses in the lens case and fill it with lens solution. Leave the lenses to soak for at least 6 hours before using them again.
Note: If you are having trouble with insertion or removal of lenses, consult with an eye care professional for proper guidance. And always follow the manufacturer's instructions and your eye doctor's recommendations.
